Question 1

What do I need to rent a trailer?

Accepted Answer

A valid Ontario or Canadian driver's licence, proof of vehicle insurance, a tow vehicle rated for the trailer's GVWR, a 2 5/16" ball hitch, a 7-pin wiring connector, and a working electric brake controller. You must be at least 21 years old.

Question 2

Do I need an electric brake controller?

Accepted Answer

Yes — all three trailers are equipped with electric brakes, and a functioning brake controller installed in your tow vehicle is mandatory. Rentals will not proceed without one.

Question 3

What size ball hitch do I need?

Accepted Answer

All trailers require a 2 5/16" ball mount hitch. We offer a hitch rental if you need one — confirm compatibility with your vehicle before booking.

Question 4

How does the security deposit work?

Accepted Answer

A refundable security deposit is collected at pickup: $400 for the Miska Deluxe, $300 for the Big Tex 70CH, and $500 for the 2026 Miska. If you pay by credit card, no separate cash deposit is required. Your deposit is returned once the trailer is inspected and cleared at drop-off.

Question 5

What does the weekend rate cover?

Accepted Answer

The weekend rate covers a Friday pickup to Sunday return. It's the most popular option for weekend projects, car shows, and moves.

Question 6

Do you offer delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we offer trailer delivery throughout York Region and the GTA. Contact us for delivery availability and pricing for your area.

Question 7

Is the trailer GPS monitored?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All three trailers are equipped with GPS tracking for security purposes.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash, e-transfer, and credit card. Full rental payment is due at pickup.

Question 9

What happens if I return the trailer late?

Accepted Answer

Late returns may be subject to additional daily rental fees. If you need to extend your rental, contact us before your scheduled return time and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Question 10

Do I need to clean the trailer before returning it?

Accepted Answer

The trailer should be returned in the same condition it was picked up — free of debris and with all included equipment (straps, ramps, etc.) accounted for. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from the security deposit.

Question 11

Can I haul equipment as well as cars?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our trailers are well-suited for cars, trucks, ATVs, UTVs, skid steers, and other equipment within the trailer's rated GVWR. Contact us if you're unsure whether your load is a good fit.
